(shows similarities to The Plasmatics "Tight Black Pants") Maybe in the year 2033 or something GG will begin to be understood and eventually his records will be admitted into the Library of Congress as historically important.ĪLWAYS WAS, IS AND ALWAYS SHALL BE (1978-1982)ĥ. It took 30 years after Robert Johnson died for people to start looking back at what he did. No one comes near the importance that Robert Johnson, Hank Williams and GG Allin had on the shaping of rock 'n' roll and modern music in general.

I firmly believe that the most important artists, since the beginning of recorded music (with Jimmie Rodgers and The Carter Family in 1927, having the earliest relevance in my opinion) are three guys: The delta bluesman Robert Johnson who recorded 29 songs in 1936-1937, Hank Williams original singles for MGM, and GG Allin.
