Weaponcrafting as the name implies is the process of creating weaponry for use in combat (or in the case of axes, for logging). A player will often start off with knowing (at the very least) the process of making chisels and mallets which are arguably the two easiest tools to create. Toolcrafting is the process of creating tools for usage in most crafting skills, and thus a master level toolcrafter is an asset to any settlement. It is the easiest form of armor crafting one can acquire as cloth does not require the slaying of animals, and 95% of the time a player is likely to start off with the ability to make thread. Tailoring is a skill which is useful for creating light armor (including plastic armors), some bag types, bonding materials (thread, string and twine). This skill therefore gains synergy from resources (which allow for acquisition of higher forms of crafting materials). Masonry is a form of stonecrafting which takes stone (such as granite) and compounds, and may then be used to create useful products (such as bricks, mortar, powder, etc). Leathercrafting materials can be gathered either by gathering leather bundles, or by hunting and skinning animals. Leathercrafting is a form of crafting which produces medium-type armor (as opposed to the light armor of tailoring, or the heavy armor of bonecrafting), as well as useful items such as packs and tarps. As with most crafting skills a higher skill rank improves success rates on building a fire, as well as allows for new recipes. A player will still need to have requisite materials to craft a fire pit, as well as fuel in order to fuel and stoke the fire. Those with high skill levels in crafting skills could be referred to as craftsmen. Players who are skilled in Crafting Skills are able to take mundane materials and turn them into useful products, such as taking scraps of cloth to turn them into clothing, or taking tools and using them to create things. Crafting Skills is one of the major archetypes of skill trees (the others being Combat Skills, and Gathering Skills).
